Word prompt- silent
This is a scene from my newest Jessica Sales WIP- White Queen
“Again, what’s your name, damit?”
“Fine, it’s Jessica. Jessica Sales. Now die you bastard.”
The man never got a chance to reply as a slight pop was heard, courtesy of the modified .22 caliber Woodsman and silencer. He collapsed to his knees then fell face forward onto the deck, moaning as he went.
No sooner was he down then the sound of gunfire erupted all around the ship. The noise was mixed with screams of pain, shouts of direction and bodies falling.
As the commotion started to die down Jessica heard a friendly female say, “Let’s get you untied and covered before Ronny gets here or that man won’t live long enough to question him.”
“I like your idea Martina. Being tied up isn’t my idea of fun sex, even if it was with my guy.”
Even before Martina had the ropes cut they both noted how silent it was on the yacht.
“We didn’t know if you had any clothes left after the slavers caught you so I brought you some.” Martina handed over the bag.
Now free she eagerly took the waterproof bag and ripped it open.
“Thanks,” she said slipping into a pair of well-worn jeans and a tank to.
“Here, you might want these.” Martina handed over a tanto-bladed knife in an clip holster and her Sig Saur.
“Thanks, now let’s get this idiot up and do something about his wound. All this moaning is starting to grate on my nerves,” Jessica said as she slipped the knife in the waist band of her jeans. This pistol she balanced easily in her hand.
“Don’t you girls worry about scumbag. John, Toby and I’ll take care of him.” Ronny came around the foot of the bed to see the man writhing naked on the deck, his hands cupping his privates with a thin trickle of blood oozing out between his fingers.
